White Sage (salvia apiana) is a plant from the mint family, used as an incense. For centuries, the native Indians of North America have been initiating their purifacation ceremonies and healing sessions by burning its dry leaves bundled into smudge sticks. White sage is considered sacred and is believed to cleanse a space of any evil spirits or negative energies present. Its smoke is also used to bless, cleanse and heal the person or object being smudged. White sage has a highly aromatic and resinous scent that enables a greater ease of relaxation.

How to use: 
Hold the incense stick careful at the bottom of the base. 
Light the top of the incense and let it burn for a few second. 
Blow out the flame & you will be left with a lovely glow. 
When burning incense sticks please be careful of the flame and it is always best to use an incense holder.
